Rules:
• Fees start at the beginning of the reserved/scheduled time slot and end at the end of the reserved time slot or when the area is ready to close up or the area is ready for the next person (whichever happens later) rounded up to the nearest half hour. Only Check, Cash, Money Orders or pre-paid passes accepted. Sorry, I have no way to accept credit card payments at this time.

• $20 fee for no show without 24 hours’ notice or for arriving more than 20 min. late without notifying me by phone. By 20 min. after scheduled time, if I haven’t heard from you, I’ll pack up and go home. For weather related cancellations, the 24 hour requirement doesn’t apply, but you still need to notify me that you will be cancelling to avoid a no show fee.

• NO BATHROOM FACILITIES FOR HUMANS ON SITE! Clean gas stations a short drive away.

• We don’t have trash removal, so bagged dog waste needs to be transported off site. Please clean up after your dog(s)!  There are about 70 dogs a month visiting the site, so it doesn’t take long to accumulate and the farmer that owns the fields around us doesn’t like dogs. The tractor he uses to cut the grass between the road and field is stored in his garage, so we don’t want it to smell like dog waste.

• YOU are responsible for your dog (& any child you bring), his/her behavior and his/her safety.

• Dogs may not be loose on the property or surrounding fields except inside the training area. Be sure leash goes on BEFORE the door, your crate and/or your vehicle is opened. We have a large pack of coyotes in the area and the highway is visible from the property. There are also lots of tempting bunnies, deer, etc. that could tempt your dog to run off.

• There is a $5 fee for each peed on bale. You may work your dog at the club in a belly band or panties if you think they might try to mark the straw. Generally, once the dog figures out the game, they stop marking and concentrate on hunting. A belly band or panties are not allowed during trials except as required for a bitch in season (if she squats, it’s still an NQ).

• Please do not let your dog(s) potty on the mowed lawn or landscaping. Use the field and taller grass across the road for walking your dog(s). Note that the first house you pass with a driveway on our street has a small white dog that may be loose and may run up to your dog barking. If your dog will take issue with that, walk toward the end of the road instead.

• Please keep your dog(s) on leash as there are coyotes, rabbits, hawks, nesting geese and other tempting/dangerous wildlife in the area. Please clean up anything solid that your dog deposits and transport it off site with you (we don’t have trash collection and have to burn or transport our trash to the dump).

• All persons entering the property do so at their own risk and agree to assume responsibility for damage/injury caused by them or by their dogs and agree to hold the property owners and their insurance company harmless for any injury sustained by them or their dog by any means, including but not limited to injury/death from a dog or by accident.
